Several databases are available online to research from home, at Harrison or anywhere Internet access is available. A database is a collection of information, usually with a common topic, gathered in one place for easier use.
Many of the EVPL databases contain full text of books, magazines, newspapers, primary sources, videos, and more. Citing information from databases is important and most of the EVPL databases offer citation help.
The most commonly used databases are:
Resource Buddy from Inspire
Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library (EVPL)
EVPL Research – available anywhere with an Internet connection, an EVPL Card, or a student e-Access card
