21st Century Scholars

21st Century ScholarsFormer Governor Evan Bayh established the Twenty-first Century Scholars Program to commit tuition scholarships for higher education at public or private institutions in Indiana to eligible young people who apply for the program and fulfill a commitment to the State.

The Twenty-first Century Scholarship covers full tuition at a state supported (public college) in Indiana and is renewable for up to eight semesters.

Twenty-first Century Scholars interested in attending private colleges in Indiana may also take advantage of this scholarship opportunity. However, their scholarship will only be the amount equal to the average cost of full tuition at an Indiana public college.

Application must be completed while the student is in the eighth grade.

Seniors are reminded to complete the FAFSA and return their affirmation letter by March 1st.

Check out the 21st Century Scholars web pagefor more information on eligibility, how to apply, pledge, deadlines, or delaying entry to college.

Please see your Counselor if you have any questions regarding the program.
