Scholarship Pointers
Here are some great tips when applying for scholarships.

Deadlines:
Make sure to always pay attention to any scholarship deadlines. It is best to turn in any necessary documents a few days before the deadline, this allows for extra time if additional information is needed.

Letters of Recommendation:
• Make sure to contact the person you would like to write your letter of recommendation at least 2 weeks in advance.

• Provide them with any necessary guidelines or criteria for their letter.

• Include a resume of your 4 years at Harrison (Discussed on previous slide).

• If the letter needs to be directly mailed to a college or a scholarship foundation include an envelope with the schools address and a postage stamp.
