|National Honor Society is a highly-respected student leadership organization for students who exemplify the best qualities of high school students. Colleges and Universities recognize membership in National Honor Society as a major indicator of student potential. National Honor Society is a national program that has high expectations for student academic and community achievements as well as leadership qualities. Members participate in a number of community service and leadership projects per semester. Examples of service projects include: neighborhood can collection for can food drive, neighborhood clean up/leaf raking, Komen Race for the Cure, Relay for Life, assisting with Harrison High School community events, etc. Attendance at meetings and service projects are required for a student to remain in good standing.
